One of the best areas for diving in Europe

All our dive sites are located in or around the Cabo de Palos Marine Reserve. The fish do not know where this imaginary line is, so they go in and out at will making absolutely all of our dives, both inside and outside the Reserve, be full of marine life All of our Dive areas area stand out for something special.

BAJO DE DENTRO

The most desired diving point in the Marine Reserve

The Bajo de Dentro is a submarine mountain that rises from 40 meters deep to a minimum depth of 3 meters, and can be visited in a single dive if it is done at an adequate depth. In the north side of the mountain we can found a cave that wide enough to see the inside and watch the big groupers and croakers.

Suitable for all levels of diving, the different routes that can be made in this underwater mountain will not leave you indifferent.

BAJO DE PILES 1

A classic dive in the Marine Reserve: Bajo de Piles 1 will never disappoint you

Underwater mountain that rises from 27 meters to 8 meters deep, with about 75 meters in length, extending from West to East. On the ground floor we can find resident groupers of all sizes, seabreams and moray eels. Also, if we have a good vision, we can enjoy the presence of small nudibranchs on the walls of the Bajo.

It's a dive suitable for all levels, with different routes for each level. Being at open waters, without the coast protection, we must watch the currents.

BAJO DE PILES 2

Bajo de Piles 2, in the center of the Cabo de Palos Marine Reserve

The Bajo de Piles 2 is located very close to the Bajo de Piles 1 and both dive points are quite similar to each other, both in terrain and in life that we can find in its waters.

It is an underwater mountain that reaches 27 meters deep and the shallow part is 10 meters deep. It has the shape of a "bread loaf", about 75 meters long, which extends from West to East.

BAJO DE TESTA

The Bajo de Testa dive will surprise you, discover its secrets!

This dive offers some features suitable for all diving levels. Being close to shore, is usually more sheltered from currents. The navigation to the point is made close to the coast, without going out to the open sea.

Located between the Bajo de Testa and Piles 1, the Bajo de la Morra is one of the bajo of the Cabo de Palos Marine Reserve that has been marked more recently.

BAJO DE FUERA - Special Dive

The Bajo de Fuera, the most attractive dive in the Marine Reserve

Located beyond the lighthouse of Islas Hormigas, the Bajo de Fuera begins at a depth of 3 m and in its depths you can visit several wrecks such as the Sirio and the Minerva.

WRECK DIVING IN CABO DE PALOS

NARANJITO WRECK

The Naranjito wreck, resting in the depths

The Naranjito wreck dive begins when we reach the deck at 26 meters deep. From there we explore its 52 meters in length accompanied by all the life that takes refuge there: groupers, dentex, banks of seabream, a lot of small nudibranchs, moray eels and congers in their nooks and crannies. Sunfish are also commonly observed in their vicinity.

CARBONERO WRECK - Special Dive

Carbonero wreck, at the bottom of the sea since 1917

The Carbonero wreck, or 'Thordisa' was an Italian steam ship built in 1888, 88 meters in length, renamed in 1913 as 'Lilla'. It rest on a sandy bottom at 45 meters deep, in navigational position. The dive takes place below 30 meters deep entirety, so it's required Advanced Open Water certification and Deep Dive specialty, and some experience in deep diving and wrecks.

BAY DIVES IN THE COAST OF CABO DE PALOS

The bay dives are protected areas where we can dive without wind or waves, so we can enjoy the underwater 'landscape' and the marine life. Easy dives for all levels and full of life.

ESCALERITA

The Escalerita bay never disappoints, Dive!

Located below the Cabo de Palos Lighthouse, just in the edge of the Marine Reserve, the Escalerita bay dive offers a lot of highlights to dive in. With a depth ranging from 2 to 20 meters, it offers a large number of different routes and dives.

CALA FRÍA

Sheltered by the lighthouse of Cabo de Palos

Just below the incessant turn of the Cabo de Palos lighthouse, is Cala Fría bay. It's located in the edge of the Cabo de Palos Marine Reserve, so many of the surpluses of the reserve come to take shelter in their rocks, recesses, channels and holes.
